Josephine's parents, Lars and Pernille, booked a studio portrait session with us for Josephine as her surprised 13th birthday present.
During the planing of the shoot for Josephine, we asked Lars and Pernille to photograph some of Josephine's wardrobe of what she would like to wear for the shoot. We suggested that there should be a couple of dresses, some jeans and outfits that Josephine likes to wear. As our style of portraits, we don't really photograph a lot of full body shots, so we told Lars and Pernille not to worry about the shoes, but they could bring some nice pairs along for her just in case we could include them in the shots.
As for our part of planning, after we picked out some outfits for Josephine from the photos that Lars sent to us through Whatsapp, we prepared props for hair and a few things that would go with the outfits that we picked.
We also booked Zikky ZK (https://www.facebook.com/zikkyu), the freelance make up artist, to do make up and hair for Josephine on the shooting day, which he did a really good job.
Since Josephine is a teenager, we tried to keep the poses her age, but still look glamorous and beautiful. Even though it was her first time doing a portrait shoot this style, she did really well, and took great directions. We had a great time working together, and the results are amazing.
